The vision of the client, Good for Manly headed by Councillor Candy Bingham, is to reinstate the iconic Manly harbour pool that was destroyed in 1974 by storms. After extensive community consultation we designed a Masterplan that configures the new harbour pool to identify structurally key locations and characteristics of Manly, provide sustainable protection for seagrasses and maintain a safe habitat for the little penguins. The redesign of the harbour pool provides recreational and educational opportunities and reinvigorates the existing Museum Art gallery with an arts and music precinct that is highly inviting to visitors and locals of Manly.
